I would just like to know, in a general case, if I were to provide an .iso to a vps company, is there any way they can provision me a vps with the custom OS on it? I'm trying to avoid going to dedicated so I'm trying to find out if your average vps host can accommodate a custom OS.
1) Xen-HVM or KVM
2) Loading of custom ISO's
3) Compatibility with your ISO. Depending on your ISO it may/may not work. For example, most FreeBSD ISOs will not work on Xen HVM but will work on KVM.
