    Anyone using INTERWORX control panel?

Thinking about buying INTERWORX control panel; anyone currently using it to manager a server?
Can you please share your experience?

How does it compare to Cpanel or DirectAdmin?

    Thanks.

Interworx is good, I tell everyone who doesnt have to get cPanel to get Interworx. Its less per month and pretty nice.

Seems like he's only talking about the clustering feature of it.
In terms of a control panel, it is fine, and he says the same about that.

Agreed. I just posted it -- JaguarPC is listed in the InterWorx site.-- to note that the clustering feature is not that good.

I like it. Cpanel feels feature packed but also bloated in places and sometimes even a "dummy" or childish feel to it. Interworx is clean and professional feeling, and just as powerful. I would recommend it. Not to say we don't also recommend cpanel. We are a cpanel company and theres no beating their support and staff. We love working with cpanel, and due to its ease of use will always recommend it over others. We have used cpanel since it was a beta product of VDI over a decade ago. But don't discount interworx, its the next best thing in my opinion.

What about DirectAdmin? You think InterWorx is better than DirectAdmin?

Yes, for sure. DirectAdmin to me seems a bit too basic/plain, and I don't like its functionality and structure.

I would go in this order:

    #1 cPanel
    #2 Interworx
    #3 DirectAdmin
    #4 Plesk

i see lots of people talk about customers so many times, but not everyone who uses control panels use it for selling hosting. I in particular use it to manage my multiple websites.

So i mean it makes no sense to slave around without a web control panel hosting like 20 websites. So that is why i use the control panels for personal use.

So if using for personal use changes the course, then how do the control panels compare for personal use?

I would say the exact same ranking as above.
I know lots of people who don't use it for customers, just to help them manage their server -- even me

    Hello,

I thinks Interworx is developed by Nexcess DC. You will need some time to understand the panel. I prefer cPanel over Interworx which has got proper documentation and an active forum.

    Hello,

Okay ! That's a new info. Anyways I prefer cPanel. Go through both the docs and decide. For using direct admin you should need some more experience.

I have tested DirectAdmin and i like it. I will be buying the lifetime license in a few days but i want to also buy the lifetime license of InterWorx, so the reason for the feedbacks.

P.S. I am currently using Cpanel to manage my websites and i am tired of the high monthly license that is really a kill..$15/month for VPS and the deadly one $40/month for dedicated server license. I will be so done with all that soon.

    Hello,

Okay ! As you have tried Direct Admin and cPanel, you can give a try on Interworx ! Go through this URL doc http://www.interworx.com/support/docs/nodeworx to know more about Interworx.

for personal use i would say directadmin the pricing will beat almost any other paid control panel.
