How do you plan a VPS host?
I know all plans are different and you probably offer plans to cover both lots of storage as well as lots of memory and processing. But when you build one out what's your specs?
We don't build more than 8 drives in a raid 10 making only ~40% available. But I've noticed that with out over provisioning that leaves a lot of unprovisioned storage, most times.
Whats the typical specs for your VPS hosts?
IMO I would say the bare min for a semi-decent VPS node would be:

I guess thats the problem we see. With the price between 500gb and 1tb so cheap we just splurge the extra cash to keep inventory with a longer shelf life.
