Cpanel for iphone app - any good?

I see there's a cpanel controller app for the iphone. It's not published by cpanel.

Anyone use it? Any good? Reviews are, well, mixed...

If you're talking about "Control Panel", it was pretty buggy when I tried it. Wouldn't recommend.

I didn't have too much luck with it either.

My Atrix 4G's browser (along with all iOS and most Android devices) render the full cPanel good enough to do the basic things that you'd need to do "right now."

Of course, I never really understood the need for a cPanel app. I can't imagine a task in cPanel that you'd need to do in such a hurry that you can't get yourself to a computer.

I've never tried that before, but once I saw that cPanel for iPhone app.
That would be nice if cPanel (stable, reliable, and not too buggy) could be accessed from any mobile devices , such as: iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices.

Happen to use iwebmanager from CliffSupport.

It looks pretty good and serves almost everything I wanted.

    I got it from WHT.

Seems like they keep it updated too.

    Any one else using it?

I'm personally waiting for the day when cPanel comes out with their own iPhone or Android app. I know Apple vets all apps for privacy / security issues, but I'd feel a lot better knowing the app came directly from the developer than a third party. Although, ClifSupport and David510 are reasonable people... I would probably take a look at their app. (Makes note to do this later.)

    Guys,

You may want to try HostCP for cPanel management.

It uses cPanel's official API and directly communicates with your server.

It supports unlimited accounts/server and app access is password protected, preventing any unauthorized access.

Your valuable reviews would be highly appreciated...

    Regards,
    Mihir

PS : I am the developer so you can pass any feature request to me.
