    About my host

    im a noob at this so i just want to know this is not normal right?
    im currently inbuyvm.net and i have the $24.95/month package.

    Guys,

    Before trashing other hosts we need to get into the problem itself.

    Although the packet loss could mean that his hosting account is the problem, it could also mean the customers ISP connection itself may be the issue.

    First things first, do www.speedtest.net and also www.pingtest.net and let us know your results.

    Once you've done that we'll be in a better position to advise you.

    it's really bad it's happening like 3-5x a week last for 30mins - 2-3 hours, we already report the problem but it's still lagging. I already told them that punish the one that is abusing vps

    The reason i ask is because I've been pinging the same IP for some time without any packet loss.

    Ah ok.

    Well the first thing to do with this type of problem is to run these tests at the same time you are having problems with your host and in addition to this go into command prompt and type "tracert 205.185.125.141".

    This will let you know exactly where the problem lays and also give your host a good amount of information to locate the problem.

    Have they suggested what may be causing the problems?
