    Need Help with Raid checking

    Hi,

    Ive ran into some differculty, how do I check my raid status to ensure all is well
    I would like to check regular and hopefully its a simple command,

    my setup is

    Centos - Cpanel
    2 x Sata drives in Raid 1
    3ware Inc 9xxx-series SATA-RAID

    Grab a copy of the tw_cli tool from 3ware. Assuming it is controller 0 "tw_cli info c0" will give you the info. The tw_cli command is pretty easy to use and can get a lot of information from it.

    im not sure if i install or just run

    I have the files now from a site, i have full root access to my server

    just not sure what the steps are for running this

    If you look around there are scripts that can be setup on a cron to email you in the event it does not look healthy or has a problem. If you are paranoid have it email you ever day/few days a check that you can manually view and make sure looks ok.
