Looking for users & reviews on vps247.com

    Hello,

I am in need of some vps based cloud hosting and upon my searches I happen to come across vps247 which looks very promising - I believe their a division of M247 Limited so I can trust them with my data

Apart from looking at all the technical specs, Is this genuine cloud hosting?

At VPS247 we have taken this protection an extra stage and created a secondary SAN on all of our virtual machines so that if the SAN you are using fails the node will instantly connect to the secondary SAN so you continue to have access to your data.
    True or more website fluff?

    Thanks for reading,

    Thumbs up

    Hi,

We do certainly have our SANs setup in a failover fashion, it's not simply web site fluff!

Of course it doesn't negate your need to ensure your data is consistently backed up, but we certainly do everything we can to keep your virtual machine(s) online.

Your corporate keyword alerts appear to work

While your here can you confirm:

If a node fails, all VMs are instantly moved over onto a new host node to ensure uninterrupted operation.
How exactly does the failover happen?

The SAN pairs themselves are hardware we have put together, coupled with open source software to enact fail over provision.

Without providing full technical details to competitors, replication is handled by DRBD and the nodes connect to the SANs over iSCSI. The resource control element and cluster messaging is handled by Pacemaker (formerly heartbeat) and Corosync respectively, both very well known for this type of role.

    Do not host with vps247.
I had several websites with them and their servers is almost down 50% of the time.
I left vps247 because i could not stand all the downtime and errors.
Since it was affecting my business i had to move on to another hosting company.
Now my websites is up almost 99,99 % never had a problem.
DO NOT CHOSE VPS247 YOU WILL GET DISAPPOINTED.
