    Hi,

I'm just confused about /whm. I only know those numbers stated above and /cpanel. For what is that one?

This worked, so I need to add those ports to the iptable, can you explain how to?

I know about CSF thanks for letting me know though, I have no installed this, do I just leave that service stopped? (this /etc/init.d/iptables stop)

    rm -fv csf.tgz
    wget http://www.configserver.com/free/csf.tgz
    tar -xzf csf.tgz
    cd csf
    sh install.sh
and then add ports to Firewall configuration

CSF is simply a front-end for iptables and needs the iptables service on in order to work. The advice to stop iptables above was simply to determine the root cause to be the firewall blocking the port.

Have iptables on/running and open the required port(s) using CSF. As others have said, it integrates nicely within WHM with an interface for you to adjust settings.
