    The insects sometimes make really interesting things. Have read about mushrooms cultivated by ants, and ants zombied by mushroom spores.

    Those hornets are really dangerous, as I see.

    We had one of these buzzing around the shop last year and a coworker ended up killing it and when calling around for information, we got the "that's impossible, they don't live in the USA". Of course until we got a hold of an exterminator to come by and identified it and took it with him.

    The thing was the size of a hummingbird and the stinger was 1/4" long... Definitely not something I want chewing on me.
