Question

Choosing a domain name registrar

Hello

What are the main issues that need to be taken into consideration when choosing a domain name registrar company?

I have purchased a dedicated server from a different hosing company which includes webmail features. But, when I looked at the domain name registrar companies they offer emailing features, as well. Basically, I would like to have a domain name such as king99.com and username@king99.com email address. If I only register king99.com with the domain name registrar, will people be able to send me an email at username@king99.com ?

King99,

Yes, I supposed your posting here in the Dedicated Server would mean that you have a dedicated server and if that is so, you can set up the mail server on your server so you could set up as many email accounts based on your domain name on that machine. No problem with that.

True, the only registrar to avoid is Netsol. It is expensive and the policies makes it difficult for you to make changes to the domain name if you need to do so.
