Can anybody point me in the direction who has these switches in stock (and decent pricing)? We need to purchase 2 of these ASAP, and have them shipped to Australia latest by 3rd week of this month.

Doing a quick search on their site just now, the switch does not come - nor any other Juniper products - so doesn't look like they are selling them.

It seems so.

Try to check http://networkrepublic.net/ and look for Ignacio. You need to email them. They are specialized in cisco but they can surely get Juniper for you too.

Tell him Jones sent you and ask for a better price :-)

Thanks for the suggestion, have already actually contacted on our account manager here in Australia at Network Replublic, and just awaiting quote and availability from them now. Have also contacted our NHR rep, but their lead time is 4-5 weeks!

Juniper takes on average 2-3 weeks to return "special pricing" i.e better than the standard discount. Once your account is registered with juniper you are normally assigned a local juniper account manager and SE. A "greymarket vender" cannot sell greymarket juniper products or they lose their juniper elite/partner status.

Once your registered with a partner your stuck your not getting moved. So pick wisely.

Actually, you aren't "stuck" with the partner that Juniper assigns to you forever and ever. You can work with whatever partner you want. If you deem that your current partner isn't giving you the attention, options, expertise, etc. that you deserve, you can tell Juniper and they will work with you on selecting a new partner.
