Wow, SSH via web browser? Sounds interesting
but how about its security as it's accessed via web browser (port 80?)?

if anyone even thinks about doing this over port 80 they're [censored], as it really won't end well

if you do ssh over a web browser, do it over https.

In fact, you could probably just bind your sshd to port 443 to bypass most firewalls.

I think people are misunderstanding the OPs intentions...

Unless by internet cafe he means places that restrict access to port 22.
In which case, just run his server's sshd on another port as well.

    Hello,
In the past, I have ran a web based SSH Client (Wrote it myself) using the PHP-SSH2 Module. Of course this was protected via https:// and EVERYTHING logged

Correct me if im wrong but is there such thing as a web based SSH? I've certionally not seen one thats gone mainstream, the only SSH client i defently know of is putty, and that does the job quite nicely, although a web based one would be highly useful
