Selling domains from my hosting site?
I would like to add domain registration to my hosting website, either as a standalone purchase or purchased during the setup of a hosting account.
What would be the best way to do this?
I would go with WHMCS, It comes with a full billing system for domains. As well they provide reseller accounts for selling domains free of charge.
If you own whmcs, you can use a domain registrar reseller account like enom, which can integrate into whmcs and you can sell the domains.
This is a good choice if you want to sell domain names in the process of selling hosting.
there are other billing platforms as well that may work for you.
p.s there are others if you do not want to go with enom.
Get a good billing package from WHMCS or AWBS they provide you with a free domain name reseller account with enom.
Then WHMCS or AWBS will handle the registration of domains automatically!

When you go with WHMCS, get the domain reseller account of ResellerClub, domains will be cheaper and you get more freebies.
I do agree with others.
I myself have been using WHMCS for a year and am providing domain registration for my clients, through WHMCS with ENOM as my domain registration provider.
WHMC + Reseller Club ... good combination.. can't comment on enom as i have never used it.
Hmm... what is/are the main difference(s) and benefit(s) between ENOM and ResellerClub ?

Use WHMCS... It's the best script! And there's a wide range of domain registrars you can link to WHMCS!
@ agustan: With ResellerClub, you get free privacy, free DNS, free domain forwarding, free email forwarding, free email and lower pricing and frequent promotions. Don't know if Enom gives them all for free.
Try WHMCS or some domain providers offer their own panels which you can customize to your site(which may be easier).
@Vinayak_Sharma: Thanks for the answer
how long have you been with ResellerClub ?
by the way, is there a catch for all of them given as Free stuffs ?
Can't remember how long, but may be 6 or 7 years.

When you signup with them, they appoint an account manager to you, support is good but still if you need some extra help you always have a direct contact to turn to.
If you want to learn more about them check the parent company http://www.directi.com and also to note that their platform LogicBoxes is being used by many many ICANN accredited registrars.
Yes WHMCS is great but NetEarthOne is a must for a domain reseller. Search 'NetEarthOne' in Google to get some results... It's very cheap and many companies offer it with their reseller packages for free.
Hi, like a lot of others have said here, the WHMCS/Enom/Resellerclub recepie is hard to beat.
