Question What are some free WHM Autopilot Alternatives

    Hey,

I'm getting ready to set up system such as WHM Autopilot for my Reseller business.

My budgets really low however, what are some free alternatives. Preferably with support for Google Checkout. My Reseller account is with cPanel and WHM.

    Thanks!

A quick google search returned some threads here on WHT

    You could also try

    http://www.idevspot.com/PhpHostBot.php

I have no experience with the ones from the WHT thread. I have tried PHP Host Bot and it left something to be desired but considering you are on a tight budget you may want to look into it.

Thanks guys. I've decided to use AccountLab Plus. It supports all the features I need though it is beginning to age, development having apparently been abandoned about a year and a half ago. It is freely installable through Softalicious or Fantastico, and configures easily.

    Hope this helps someone!

If you cannot afford a measly $12/Month for ClientEXEC from licensepal then you shouldnt be in business...

You could even head for Blesta which is even cheaper @ $9/Month

Accountlab maybe the best free billing software. But tracking the accounts(domains/hostings) is not easy and functions are limited according to me. Good luck with your new software.

Ya, I will definitely want to upgrade in the future. But for now with only a hand full of clients it's totally worth the cost savings.

Thats the thing, WHMCS/UBERSMITH is pretty much the norm for this industry, They will likely leave you upon they know your using a FREE billing system.

well you can always start up with WHMCS's trial license...

Or you can go for one time license from some reseller, it may look costly but if you are going to use for more than a year, then will be cheaper and also if you have limited use then you wil also get benefits from it.

Very few clients know or care what billing system their host uses. Apparently you do though. But surely you could of said that in a more polite manner?

I should think every client knows more or less what billing/support system their hosting provider use's, How else do they submit support tickets, pay invoices and order new services?

I should also think they care how their sensitive is kept, I personally wouldnt keep my clients sensitive data on a FREE billing solution, specially one which hasnt been developed for a number of years!

However if you wish to put such sensitive data into a such risky solution, Then each to their own I suppose, We all run our businesses differently after all...

Because I don't trust someone selling something that cheap to provide good service. And because my current host is about as close to perfect as I can imagine. Hi-Q low load servers, great support, great guy to work with.
