Board integrity

I read that this board is owned by Rackshack. Any thoughts on whether this impacts the discussions or moderating?

No problems here! In the words of Tony the Tiger, Rackshack is grrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaat!

Seriously, Rackshack has been very good about allowing free discussion here. You will find many threads critical of RS.

This is OT----MODS move to Lounge, please.

It doesn't. Chicken and the other mods aren't employed by Rackshack... and if you look around, you'll notice plenty of negative (and plenty of positive) posts about Rackshack that haven't been removed simply because they own the forum.

Should also note that Rackshack doesn't own it, Robert Marsh (CEO?) of Rackshack does. My impression that this was just one of his personal things he had going.

Regardless if that is correct, Rackshack does not interfere with anything here. I've only seen Robert step in once to close a thread...and it was closed with a perfectly good reason. They certainly don't remove threads.
