    New Host/No Cpanel Access

A month ago I switched hosting and it has been a nightmare. I want to switch to a new host but I cannot get this host to give me cpanel access. I have been asking ever since I switched and still no access.

My site is now down due to going over bandwith which I have upgraded 3 times in the month. And which I was promised wouldnt happen.

Can I switch without having access to the cpanel? Im afraid I cannot transfer it without that access

    Thanks in advance

If you buy a hosting package with cPanel, then you should have a cPanel access unless you are talking about root access?

    Do you have FTP access?

No I have zero access to anything! They kept saying "refer to your welcome email" which I forwarded to them twice to show it says nothing about accessing my cpanel or FTP.

I have a headache. Especially painful as this was a "friend"

Change your web host immediately and buy a good web hosting package. Upgrade your website nameserver from the domain registrar and also rehost your website.

I really hate saying this but this friend of yours has really taken you for a ride. I guess this "ride" is not really very enjoyable for you.

Get your "friend" to reset your username and password for you. Resend you the password which is working and you could take it from there. Moving out would be your best solution.

    Good luck!

You will just have to wait this one out until your "friend" gives you the correct login details.

Is he really your "friend"? I don't think so. Anyway, you really need to change a hosting provider soonest as possible.

We're just reading one side of the story and nobody knows who's hosting him.
