    Different render in FF3 and IE8

    This site under development renders differently in IE8 than in FF3. Specifically I don't want the white space above the horizontal menu. I've used FF css tools and looked into the css files for the P7 and page menus and can't find where a pad or margin has been added below the header or above the menu. Must be some IE hack that is needed but I don't know what or where. I would appreciate a css expert taking a look.

    I believe it may have something to do with this element:

    <span class="subsubtitle">

    I can't see a closing tag, and I'm not sure of its purpose but if you close it or remove it, that should make a difference in IE..
