VPN Control Panel - Advice?
I want to setup an PPTP-VPN at an VPS for me and my Friends.
For a Linux VPS I thought about Poptop and for a Windows VPS about the own Server client. Would that be the best Way?
What I need is an Web Panel were I can add and administrate the VPN Users.
Is there something out there ?
How about looking into OpenVPN?
As for control panel I believe Webmin has basic functionality for manging VPNs users on Linux-based servers.
OpenVPN would be a workaround for us.
I will take a look at webmin but would be happy if there would some alternative ideas for us.
Webmin can certainly manage PPTP connections. I would look into that first, as it's a free and easy to use solution.
Regarding Windows, it has a GUI for managing users. If you would prefer web-based management you'll have to drop some cash. I know ManageEngine do a solution for managing users on windows machines but not sure if there are any alternatives.
At the Moment I would prefer a Windows based Solution?
Spending some Cash should be no problem when I get what I need.
Is there a other option then ManageEngine?
Maybe something special for VPNs?
