Invalid helo 550 message when sending out emails
have been struggling with this for a while.. I hired a support service here on the forum (laswatech), but they fixed the issue once, and after a service restart, the issue popped up again.
SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<xxxx> SIZE=77482:
host vinifera.hk [174.120.xxx.xxx]: 550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 126.96.36.199)
I have tried to do the following:
1) Setup my email clients using authentication, this makes no difference.
I use DirectAdmin, Exim 4 and Centos.
I need to supposedly add in a FQDN or disable this helo checking, but have no idea how/where to do this?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Have a look at this thread... perhaps you might find your answer here... if you do, then can I charge you as well. LOL. Just Kidding.
By the way, are you trying to relay messages?
