    Thumbs down Hepl My VPS

    Hi

I got problem in my VPS host, they cant fix the problem.
I'm getting error and I don't know how to fix.
    See the error bellow:

TLD Parent Check WARNING: Looks like the parent servers do not have information for your TLD when asked. This is ok but can be confusing.

Nameservers are lame ERROR: looks like you have lame nameservers. The following nameservers are lame:

SOA EXPIRE Your SOA EXPIRE number is: 3600000. That is NOT OK

Could help me tell them how to fix, this is big problem?
    thanks

    Welcome to Webhostingtalk..

But who is your provider? and is the nameservers your nameservers, or thiers? Did you create them? Register them correctly and configure them on the server it self?

Also are they two different IP addresses, or did you use the same IP?

Let me guess; cPanel created that DNS profile...

Actually, your DNS will work fine with those errors, but you might want to attend to them anyway.

    * You can manually edit the SOA expiry error. I suggest that you fix it with webmin, if you want to fix it. Webmin a terrific graphical interface for BIND.

    * The lame nameserver warning usually means that the zone (the domain) you are looking for doesn't exist in that DNS server, so that DNS server can't provide DNS info. But it can mean other things (domain not resolving to an IP address for some reason, firewall problem with that DNS server, DNS server down, you're using the wrong IP address, etc.). In short, it means that one of your DNS servers isn't working, or not working properly.

    * To get rid of the TLD parent server problem, enter your NS prefixes in the Host Summary at your domain registrar.

    Carry on...

Actually, I can check your nameservers from here and tell you what's wrong. If you give me your nameserver addresses and the domain in question I'll take a look. If you want that info to stay private then send them to me via private message..
