My host tells me the problem is not in their network, how can it be.
I recently switched to a new hosting company with hopes for better service. All day my computer has not been able to contact the host, while other computers can. They tell me the problem is not on there end. When I do a tracert from network-tools.com I get

They say the problem is with my ISP, but how can this be I can access everything else just fine.
Should I switch hosting companies or is this really out of there control?
It looks to me the last successful hop is the one right before there servers. Is this not an indication it is there problem to fix?
My guess is the server firewall has blocked you for some reason. Contact them to have the block removed and ask to have your IP whitelisted.
I have been contacting them and they say the problem is with my ISP and that everything is good on there end. They ask if I can switch ISP's but that is not an easy thing for me. They say I should contact Comcast and ask them if they are making routing changes,
I wish I knew why this sort of thing might happen.
I would say it is your host, however, i have seen people have issues with routers or modems that cause the same type of issue. It actually happened to me once and it was my router. I had to have it reset and a few weeks later I had the same issue and got a new router. I would double check with your host to make sure your ip isn't banned and also check with your ISP and see if they will give you a new modem or IP. You said you use Comcast which means you would probably have to get a new modem because they don't just change an ip for something like this.
That's a bit extreme - it'd be much easier to switch hosts than your ISP.
Unless it's a generic problem with the ISP then moving host wont solve anything.
Satrt by checking for a 3rd party like the spot-check at alertra or downforeveryoneorjustme type sites, if they show it as up then is *IS* a problem with one of:
your local setup/firewall/router
your isp setup/firewall/router
your hosts setup/firewall/router
-check them in that order
