    Upgrade OpenVZ Kernel

    Hello
    I Want To Upgtade OpenVZ Kernel So Centos OS upgrade to 5.6 with yum update -y !

    Now I need to edit the path following /boot/grub/grub.conf to ensure that you boot back into the OpenVZ kernel !

    Please Help me

    You can also avoid updating to CentOS kernel when running yum update by adding this in /etc/yum.conf, right after [main]:

    exclude=kernel

    That's just a title, it's not a 'big deal'

    If you read the entry for 0 you see that it's still loading the OVZ kernel.

    No, you can't since OpenVZ has a single kernel on the physical node shared among all VPS'es.
