All over the place between 15 and 65KB/s. UK 10mbps ADSL.

  15. #15
With flashget on UK server, it's going between 120KB/s and 500KB/s. As the above poster said, the speed is really all over the place.

No download tools, only wget tool used. Speed is very variable +/- 50%.

I think the remote ADSL ISP connection may not have the best download speed from far east...

    50KB/s - Newcastle, UK (NE5 Datacentre/ValueVPS)
    25KB/s - Berkshire, UK (RapidSwitch)
20KB/s - Newcastle, UK (BE Broadband)
    20KB/s - Paris, FR (OVH)

The downloads tend to start at around 50KB/s then start jumping all over the place. Are you using some sort of traffic management?

  20. #20
    There is no traffic management.
Just because this is a 10Mbps port unmeter.

Hmmm... this link is from a home cable network in Canada.

Max you're gonna be getting should be around 50KB/s if you're using conventional single string download. If you're breaking it up, then perhaps more.

Why not just ask your Cable Provider? They should be able to tell you what your MAX upload and download speed is.

    Hi,

Did you download any file from Asia? Can you rush your download speed over 10Mbps? Please let me know some review if you have far east server download speed record.

    Tks,

Yes, I know the port speed is 10Mbps. Just want to know outside Asia download speed and per download with mult-session.

I used udp push can meet 10Mbps full to a US VPS server, in and out.

    Thank you for your report
