I'm using 'wget' command in Linux for every server except Killercreation, where I used Internet Explorer.
I get 250KB/s with flashget - my max internet speed.

With flashget on UK server, it's going between 120KB/s and 500KB/s. As the above poster said, the speed is really all over the place.

I think the remote ADSL ISP connection may not have the best download speed from far east...

50KB/s - Newcastle, UK (NE5 Datacentre/ValueVPS)
25KB/s - Berkshire, UK (RapidSwitch)
20KB/s - Newcastle, UK (BE Broadband)
20KB/s - Paris, FR (OVH)
The downloads tend to start at around 50KB/s then start jumping all over the place. Are you using some sort of traffic management?

There have a few download is being on a 10Mbps port.
So the speed are sharing. But I can see the total download speed from Europe or NA were meet 10Mbps speed.

Hmmm... this link is from a home cable network in Canada.
Max you're gonna be getting should be around 50KB/s if you're using conventional single string download. If you're breaking it up, then perhaps more.
Why not just ask your Cable Provider? They should be able to tell you what your MAX upload and download speed is.Aaron Ong
