I would try reinstalling it and see if that fixes the problem. Make sure you drop all the tables in the database before trying to reinstall it though.

Are you 100% sure your paths are correct?

I would suggest you check your config.pl and your mysql setting is correct.

Example:
$dbhost = "localhost";
$dbname = "boomhost_perldesk";
$dbuser = 'boomhost';
$dbpass = 'xxxxxxxxxxx';

Did you check whether you have the following modules?

DBI, DBD::MySQL, MIME::Tools

Chmod all .pl & cgi files 755

Also when you run the install.cgi it will setup the sql structure for the "perldesk" database that you earlier created.

HTH.

If you are still having problems installing "perldesk" the below link should help.

One final tip (not that others tips are worthless) is to clear your browser cache and cookies. This should solve problems. I've noticed that just after installing, I had to do the same thing myself.
