    Which hardware firewall is best to use on a centos dedicated server?

    I would like to ask which hardware firewall would be best to protect my centos OS dedicated server? I dont have a huge budget and was looking for recommendations for free firewalls first.

    Obviously, there is no such thing as a free hardware firewall. Unless of course you will get one from a company that does an upgrade and doesn't need their old one.

    CentOS has a nice firewall built-in though, and it's OK for most tasks.

    Most single server customers don't use hardware firewalls, at least I'd guess not. Most common is to use CSF or APF to easily manage IPTABLES that comes enabled in CentOS.

    Here's the install.txt for CSF:
