I was looking around at colocation, and i'm working on building my business plan and i'm just trying to get how this works.. So like i'm been sitting here for about 30 mins for a way to word it so i cant think of how to. could someone give me some links or possably describe how it works
Check what your datacenter provides, depending on how much you are coloing you will need more/less. If you are doing a few U at a time (not a 1/4 rack+) you will probably not need a switch or PDU, just the server and cables.
Keep in mind if the hardware fails you may need to source parts quickly, something you cannot depend on if you don't have them in stock. Finding replacement parts at midnight on a Sunday or having to leave another job to go buy a part is never fun!
