Does the script create a full backup every day or can it just send the changed files to a ftp server?

Just wondering what the bandwidth usage would be like. Is the script encrypted and does it call back to a license server? What would happen if you close?

{crazyfish} I'm afraid cPanel doesn't provide incremental backup options to non root users at this time. The script creates full cPanel backups, however since these are .tar.gz files in most cases they will be about 1/4 or less of the size of the whole account. It is possible to have 18 - 20GB of data that tars down to 1 - 1.5GB. The exception to this would be if you have a lot of solid files (ISOs, etc.). Your host should be doing daily backups for you, since you're creating your backups as a fail safe, every other day or even every few days should be sufficient.

{Yujin} All future version upgrades are free going forward. V2.x licenses were not upgradable to v3.x because we changed licensing systems. All future versions will use the existing licensing system, with all updates automatically available to existing users.

Sorry, missed the licensing question the first time. WHMEasyBackup use the WHMCS Licensing system (the same system used by WHMcs and SolusVM, etc.). Just like all scripts using the WHMcs system, the script does call back our licensing server with the IP, Domain, and installed location of the script.

If our server were offline permanently, then the script would stop working. However, the script will not fail for the first 7 days that our licensing server is offline. This stops a short term problem (our host set our server on fire, etc.) from affecting your backups.

You can create as many config files as you like. You can divide your accounts into groups of any size with the use of multiple config files, and set the desired cron schedules for each config as needed.
