    Order ID 114 Failed Fraud Check

    Hey guys,

    Last night we received our first fraud attempt. MaxMind and WHMCS worked perfectly and stopped the order but now I'm curious...

    1. Do I leave the client record in the system?
    2. Do I just add the IP to the ban list and remove the order?

    I'd love to hear how others handle the management of fraud orders in their WHMCS system.

    Congratulations, 114 orders so far and only the first fraud attempts - that's less than 1%. We receive like 30-40% fraud orders
    Yes, keep the records in your system, just in case. You may need to reference them in the future. For instance there are some very persistent (and stupid) idiots out there that try to register twice with the same address and email but with different name, etc, the data from the fraud order may help you to catch those, in case they manage to trick the antifraud system.

    MaxMind needs to upgrade their systems. Their checked will sent your order status to fraud even verifying yourself via telephone

    I don't know enough about it to comment but I will say it's done fantastic for us so far!
