where do you go for your print services?

I'm pretty sure some of you print thousands of business cards/flyers/postcards every month. Which companies do you reply on for your printing?

    Thanks!

I use a local print shop. That way, I can go in and feel the quality of their paper and card stock as well as sample prints.

I've tried a few online printers before, however, the quality has always been very poor, though the price was very low. You definitely get what you pay for.

This is tough to say since I use my own business "Zoom Active" and this forum does not allow self promotion. Enough said.

If you want quality you can not order from big companies like VistaPrint! However ordering from a business services company or local print shop is your best bet! In fact I do not know any businesses who use VistaPrint. VistaPrint is in my opinion intended for personal use only.

Business cards we send to a local printer, but everything else is done in-house.

VistaPrint is very cheap, and they always have coupon codes, but the quality is far from the best. Paper is thin and the printing quality isn't all that great.

I don't see a location in your profile. Are you in a large urban area? NYC or similar?

We have a Fuji Xerox printer in the office that handles most of our printing needs.

Prints 45ppm in colour and B&W and will also print double sided, make booklets, plus staple, fold or hole punch documents. It looks like this.

For printing that we can't handle ourselves we send to a local print shop. That way you can review proofs/etc before going into full production

I recommend finding a company through Heartland Printing in Cincinatti, OH.. They have BEAUTIFUL business cards. I believe they are actually one of the only companies in the US that can do raised print/lettering on flyers, and business cards. Raised print feels amazing, and looks great. I know this because my father owns a office machine, and printing business as a local business. I actually walk down the stairs and have 50+ color copiers/printers..
