    Apache or nginx

I'm currently in the process of setting up a new VPS for development (and small sites in production) and I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble to change to something like nginx instead of Apache? I've always been using Apache and I got no problems with it but I've heard that nginx/litespeed/whatever can be much faster. Is that true?

To be honest, I just want to be able to set up Rails, Django, PHP and stuff like that easily. What should I go for?

If you install Varnish cache alongside your Apache install it will be just as fast, if not faster than nginx or litespeed.

I always recommend Nginx. It is more faster than apache.

But installing varnish with apache will also make your site work faster.
