    * SSL Certificates

    Hi. I am using Thawte SSL123 at this time on my reseller hostings. I will renew it or will purchase another brand's SSL soon.

    I had purchase RapidSSL last year, too. It will expire in this month. I had thought to renew and use and resell it instead of Thawte SSL123. But I saw what it is no longer a single root certificate. So PositiveSSL is cheaper than RapidSSL.

    I can purchase these certificates for these prices:
    Thawte SSL123 -> $24
    RapidSSL -> $11
    PositiveSSL $9

    Is Thawte SSL123 still a single root certificate? Which one do you recommend to use and resell?

    Hi,

    Where do you get the Thawte SSL for that price? For how many years is that?

    You should consider AlphaSSL. It is pretty similar with RapidSSL and PositiveSSL but with better mobile support (according to them).

    Since when? GeoTrust owns their own root issuer (Equifax), They always provided a CA for Equifax, but it isn't actually needed (Already in almost all browsers). Has this changed? Did GeoTrust sell the Equifax root?

    Really strange - What browser didn't recognize it?

    Personally I like Thawte's dynamic site seal where the current date is displayed.

    You are sure that you have installed the intermediate certificate correct?
