My server has high I/O at peak times. There is over 200 accounts. Mysql dbs are placed on a different drive. Everything else is on 1st drive. 1st drive has I/O issues. How can I disable cpanel's i/o intensive operations. I already mounted everything with atime. How about compressing logs?
You can check if backups or stats are running at that time...if not what are you hoping to disable? MySQL is generally pretty disk intensive but you probably don't want to stop that. You could try looking at optimizing the server, getting a second drive for MySQL, moving to a raid server, or finding the busiest accounts and moving them.
