    Domain propogation fault

Hi, I'm banging my head aganst a brick wall.

My registrar tells me it's the host and the host tells me it's the registrar...

    The domain is dlaltd.co.uk

It has not propogated and it's taken 2 weeks so far....

I'm not the most technical of people (sorry about that) but this is a business website so I've pulled most of my hair out already...

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Like, who needs to do what to fix the problems?

I've checked intodns.com and there are errors but I have no idea how to resolve them...

    Any help appreciated.

    Name servers:
    ns.hostingseries36.net
    ns2.hostingseries36.net

    Is this correct?
If so, then the host needs to be made aware of this, send them to the WHOIS

If not, then login to your Nominet account and force the correct nameservers into place

    Hi m8,

That is what the nameservers should be and the host is aware of them because they are the hosts nameservers.

I use 123-reg as registrar and in my 123-reg control panel I changed the nameservers to ns.hostingseries36.net and ns2.hostingseries36.net

But these changes have not worked.

If you check domaindiagnosis.com it shows ns1.siteground166.com & ns2.siteground166.com as well.

intodns.com also shows the siteground166 nameservers.

It's as if the propogation has got stuck!

I've emailed nominet to see if they can help...

    Hi,

It seems to be a issue with the ns records. You need to check DNS records on your hosting control panel. You have setup the name servers in the domain control panel as ns.hostingseries36.net & ns2.hostingseries36.net. But in the hosting control panel the ns records are showing as ns2.siteground166.com & ns1.siteground166.com. You need to delete these ns records and update new one. This should help you fix the problem.

Yeah, you've got some weird issues here with your NS'.

    Check this: http://intodns.com/dlaltd.co.uk

Hi all, thanks for the quick replies. I've been back in touch with the host and discussed the DNS issue and it looks like there is a problem with the DNS zones because I am unable to edit it in the WHM of my reseller account.

It has now been escalated to a more senior engineer..

Looks like I might be getting somewhere already thanks to your help.

I remember having a similar problem with my nameservers within WHM
Even though I had updated them externally the network provider advised it was a registrar issue, however I showed that it was not
Typical, pass the buck it can't be our problem, oh it is
