Looks very interesting. I started using Imeem which sold to MySpace and then I switched to using GrooveShark. Now im facing issues with GrooveShark and I might be using spotify soon if GrooveShark continues to delete tracks.
To answer my own question and help anyone else out who wants to know - you can sign up with a UK or EU proxy, download the desktop app and it works just fine. It looks like getting it to work on the iPhone is a no go but it IS as cool as I've been told.
I wish more musicians would learn from Radiohead, NIN, etc - the big labels are NOT necessary and are only parasites / loan sharks feeding off an industry they not only contribute nothing of real value to but actually damage and ruin w/ their corporate BS.
These indy artists have proven you can GIVE music away for free and still make double or triple the amount of money you would have made under the old, label centric model.
10 years from now you will be able to get any content on any device, anywhere and at any time for much less than you pay now for your services and subscriptions.
