We're currently looking into a few options of Live Chat, and wondering some of the best free/and decent cheap one's right now. I understand that if we want something 'top of the line, we need to put the cash out for it.
My main concept, as we have been having more interest into offering live support on our website more then what we are currently offering on a time-frame basis, and are looking into expanding into a better software/application to do this.
What do you guy's recommend? We would be currently testing it out on our in-house server first for us to make sure it would be suitable for our clients and such before we put it on our main website of course, but I'm looking for some good live chat software that I can investigate into.
I would personally like to see more free one's that are actually decent, there's not many, and more of live chat software like LiveZilla, but we don't want to go to that direction and we don't mind paying for the service but we would like to try the service first to make sure it works for our needs and such if anyone can direct us to some good software they use, and such.
Thank you in advance, and I'm sure there's millions of threads about this but I'm asking directly for help for me, instead of going into other people's threads I need this recommendation based on what I told you for my needs, and testing purposes to expand to our 24/7 helpdesk customer care rep's.
No one has any good options for a live chat assistance setup/management?
---> I just need something fairly simple that's a good system that we can use to allow our staff members to talk with them live over our website if they choose to select/click on the live chat button. We would also like the option to where if we do it (not automatically) we can click say "Invite to chat", and itll do a pop up asking them if they need help only if we do it, I know livezilla offers this.
We currently tried/and still using a ZopIM live chat assistance account and it's decent but it's not what we want and after purchasing it; we noticed its not what we really want and it dont work as well as we wanted and it kinda throws our site off as the way it's processed in a little chatbox in the right hand corner instead of us being able to place a live chat button.
I read the first post then looked at your site and saw that you are running live chat software now.
I'm currently running livehelpnow on a 30 day trial and I'm totally pleased with the features. I've got 15 days left and plan on keeping it when the trial is over.
This question gets posted often and there are many opinions on which is best, so take my "opinion" with a grain of salt as there are many options. This is just what I've tried and found to be more helpful than I had expected.
The other thing to keep in mind is if you run a live chat support/sales software you need to be there to answer when someone asks for help.
