Hey guys I'm new here. I just started late last year getting into web space when I wanted to move from a free hosted forum.
Today I went into my domain management in the cpanel to look around because I have been thinking about picking up another domain. When I click on my domain to check the contact info it directs me to pipe dns and shows my contact info way off. The organization name is "Domain Privacy" and I'm wondering if this is just a way for them to keep spammers away from me?
Sometimes registrars give you free privacy. Basically all it does is safeguard your personal info, so any random person can't just look up your domain and get your home address.

Basically this is for the hidding the personal info from any body. its ok not a big deal. if you have a good luck and some one contact you and big you a good offer of your Domain nad a website. this is all because of that. No big deal.
