Its a problem with Qwest who burst uses as their upstream. Personally I think Qwest sux and you shouldn't really blame burst. However, its their own fault for not being multihomed and relying on one place.

Just by 2 cents....

You know, I really don't care if it is Burst or QWest. My site was down, and that is the fact. I can't stand this!

Yep - VDI, site5, burst...all down. They are certainly having some kind of problem.

When the line into VDI goes down (they also mentioned router problems?), the whole NOC goes down. This includes all of the hosts you mentioned who are located at VDI. Sure you know this already, but...

Chicken - yep. Just an observation for Joe - although I think that after so many ups and downs he is reaching the point where it doesn't matter if it's the host or the provider. He seems to be getting pretty p.o.'ed.

I have an account with burst as well, and I'm just about at that point. Even though you read the posts, and carefully choose, things don't always go your way. Plan B.

We can't blame Burst,site5 and any other host co locate at VDI. But we have to blame VDI for not managing their network properly. I am wondering why wouldn't they add in another line since they are already earning so much money.

Better than Plan 9 from Outer Space, I hope. In any case, it looks as if they are back...
