Reliable dedicated host for under 100 ? plz help

hello, I tried several shared plans (ipage= Terrible unreliable , Bluehost= Terrrible and unreliable) servers constantly crashing. i need a reliable managed dedicated server for under 100 a month with good tech support. Any suggestions? i just need honest opinions about what my options might be, it seems everywhere people try to sell or resell, and i don't want to choose another bad host. Thanks in advance for your opinions. (my site is wordpress and rarely passes 5k unique views a day, but thats partly because of the shared host crashes)

Your budget is too low for any server being managed by anyone with decent experience, at a financially sound company.

Look at a VPS, or increase your budget.

I see.. any suggestions for a good VPS then?

Thanks for your quick response. any suggestions as far as a good VPS for a growing wordpress blog in my budget? i can't believe how often the shared servers crash at the few hosts i've tried, so my main concern is uptime and good tech support.

No sorry, I don't know much about the VPS market. Just in case you haven't tried it you should try wordpress supercache on your blog. Good luck.

Can you back that up with something? A study, in-depth comparison or similar would be very interesting to read.

The likeliness of finding a dedicated server with management for $100 or less is very unlikely. You might be looking in the range of 100-300 for a good server with a good company.

if you're wanting a reliable managed server with cpanel for $100 or less, that's going to be extremely challenging if not impossible.
