Can anybody Explain Me how bandwidth is created . Why does one ISP or a datacenter have greater speed than the other and vice versa . I doubt whether I would get an answer for this .
Bandwidth is basically how much info is sent back/forth through a server. If you wish for a depth Desc on it then it is:
The definition of bandwidth is basically the amount of data that can be transferred through a given channel or communications circuit. Web hosts can specify bandwidth for hosting accounts on their server. Bandwidth (when dealing with the Internet) refers to the amount of traffic your hosting account can receive. The term bandwidth isn't just limited to the Internet. For example, video cards also use bandwidth. Video card memory bandwidth is the bandwidth between the graphics processing unit (GPU) and the video memory located on the video card. AGP bandwidth is the bandwidth between the video card and the rest of the computer.
In fewer words: bandwidth is the amount of data that can pass through a data channel.
Also another Note towards this would be:
Bandwidth is the speed of the data transfering, it's usually expressed in bits per second (Bps).
Alot of hosts make this mistake and say "10gb bandwidth" that is your data transfer and has nothing to do with bandwidth.
Bandwidth is the speed.
Hope that helps
