    Hello,

Could you show the exact messages you are getting in the Log file.

In order to set anything on the VPS. Such as hostname, ipaddress etc.

    Fire the command as :

vzctl set <Veid> --hostname abc.xyz.com --save

You will need to add the save so that the setting will be saved and get immediate effect without rebooting VPS, thus the setting will be stored.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Try, vzctl stop CTID –skiplock
    vzctl start CTID –skiplock

This can be fixed by deleting the lock file located at /vz/lock/CTID.lck

    HI,

Just do the below and I am sure that it will be fixed.

    1 cd /vz/lock/

Search for the file which starts with the container ID

If the container ID is 101 the file name should be 101.lck

VEID.lck file (where VEID is the number of your VPS).

    Delete the file.

    2. vzctl chkpnt VEID --kill
    eg. vzctl chkpnt 101 --kill

    All the best

And.. Restart the VPS after getting in to the Node as a super user

    vzctl restart 101

where 101 is the container ID i.e., VEID

There is no need to disturb the DC as they may busy in fixing a Tough one's.

    Great Day!
