Hi, I am looking to start up a web hosting business in my local community.
I am looking to provide around 5-20 small local businesses web hosting and I am looking to purchase a re-seller account from another hosting company.
Currently, I have looked at companies such as MediaTemple, HostGator and JustHost. These all look good for money but reading some reviews, HostGator and JustHost aren't as reliable as MediaTemple. (From what I have read)
Can someone please give me some advice on which re-seller host to invest in? (Budget is around £15 - £30 a month)
Generally if your going to supply 5-20 small business's with hosting its got to be fast and 100% reliable to you need to chose a host that has been around for a while. has good reviews and good prices cheap is not always the best. Avoid unlimited.
You should maybe spend the time Googleing some good hosts and asking for reviews in WHT don't just jump for the first thing you see.
You should avoid unlimited hosts. They are not very reliable. Search for hosts in the reseller hosting offers sections. You can get discounted prices there. Search for reviews on WHT. When you find a decent host, go with it.

Both InnoHosting and EZPZHosting would suit your requirements and are well within your budget. They both offer an additional benefit of providing support to your customers under your name. So if your client has a technical problem, their support staff will handle it on your behalf, and seemingly appear to be working for you.
They also have great support and both companies are active on these forums.
I was once a customer of Inno (see above), and found them to be very professional. I'm not currently a host, but have also seen positive remarks here on WHT about ezpz.
The reason I suggest using a host focused on the reseller market is that I think it's often beneficial to do business with those for whom you are the core of their business instead of something at the fringe. That's not to say that you can't have an excellent experience with another host; just that I think it's a good bet with someone who focuses on your segment of the market.
Others will doubtless have different recommendations.
Thanks for giving us a look, and I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, as I have been out of the office.
Feel free to message me with any questions you may have regarding our hosting. Also, any details on what type of sites you'll be running would help immensely, so we can gauge what type of hosting would fit you best. Good luck with your search.
