cPanel EasyApache Question
When I start to recompile Apache and PHP through WHM...can I close the browser? The process would still be going, right?
i think had better not close browser, you may try to use ssh and run /scripts/easyapache.
Yeah don't close the browser while that is going on.

Thanks for making that clear for me.
Let's say I do close it...what happens?
*I know I should probably post this at the cPanel forums, but...I was here.
I have closed the browser during several apache recompiles and never had an issue. It always finished building just fine.

The backup runs in the background, if for some reason you do close it cd to /usr/local/cpanel/logs/easy/apache/, one of the files in there will be your current build, you can tail -f it to watch what would be outputted in the browser.
Why dont you run easyapache from a screen session? You can easily detach from the screen once it started running..
