Question Finding ip address of a user using Apache

My friend has a custom made cms with a blog and a person posted a comment on his blog but his cms does not record ip addresses of comments. So is it possible for my friend to find the ip address of the user who made the blog comment in the Apache logs?

Yeah, just look in the access logs. Might take some digging, but it'll be in there.
