Need UK Collocation with these features :)

As the title says, I'm looking for a new UK collocation service.

I'm not sure if I want to move yet, but there are 2 major features I will be looking into and price comparing between my current and a possible new host.

I need a 1gb port, but I don't want to pay over the top for it.

Vast majority of the times we will only use about 2mbs but there are times when people get angry and do small but annoying (D)DoS attacks on our UK servers.

We need a 1gb line so we can swallow these, with a 100mb line they see it's effecting the services and then continue. Most of these attacks are done by script kids, if they don't see an adverse effect they stop the attack within the hour.

Also, it would be great to have or for a small charge the ability to equip some protection. Cisco Guard would be the ideal solution for free, like my US box has .

    Anyway, quick info:

Must be UK with 2 IP(s)(Anymore is great, but pointless currently. However expansion capability is a bonus)
Latency is an issue, they run game services.
Bandwidth usage will be 2-5000gb depending on how many DDoS attacks we get, It's a bit sad that the majority of our traffic is attack based but sadly it's a competitive market.
1u server, no back panel covering the motherboard but this shouldn't be an issue for 99% of hosts.
Free or cheap KVM access would be also amazing.

I think most providers should be able to meet these requirements. Have you checked the offers forum? Does it matter where abouts in the UK you are?

Have you got a hardware firewall to be co-located along with this?
Any specific location within the UK?

No, and as for UK location I'm not overly bothered.

Obviously north Scotland or ireland is a bad idea .

Manchester, london or anywhere central/south is fine. I've no firewall, I'm wanting a host that has heavy protection already in place before it hits the collocation racks.

Cisco Guard or something else etc.

    Hi

Have a look @ icecolo.com they are based in Manchester, with easy access from the motorway. I can recommend them as I currently make use of them, there support is 24X7 on site and you can get hold of them by phone or ticket.

    Good luck

    Hi

You mentioned ddos, does your site get ddos attacked?

Also for co-lo I'd recommend ICE Colo who we host all our private racks with! 11/10 for service. www.icecolo.com if you go to https://support.icecolo.com you can contact them. They reply to tickets 24x7 by onsite data centre staff.
