    Looking for IRC VPS

Hello , I'm looking for vps that allows to run IRC processes and It comes with multiple ips for the VHOST use, even the ability of adding more additional ips.
Last time I tried order a vps the company didn't allow me to have more than 13 ips and I didn't have access to the rDNS panel.
Can anyone recommend a good company ?

Have a look into BuyVM later on when they have stock (in the coming weeks). They allow IRC and have full rDNS functionality (even with IPv6!) A VPS comes with 1 IPv4 and 16 IPv6 by default - extra IPv4 IPs are $1/mo.

I've been with FusionNET for over a month now. While I don't host IRC myself, I know they are marketing their services for IRC use. I'd highly recommend them. You'll find a review I did around here (another one coming shortly).

Thank you for the recommendation. We do allow IRC services on all of our products/services.

    Seconded.

Get a /64 IPv6 subnet and create as many (MILLIONS!) useless vhosts as you want - but please dont waste IPv4 for it.

Also please run your own Nameservers for your reverse pointers, and dont waste ressources on the ISPs one.

Most Service Providers wont or can't let you handle reverse. If they do they usually only want to give domain auth on a class c or more...

It seems he has removed it..

Most companys allow Reverse Records on there services, I know we do with our ipv4/ipv6, and I don't see why people are complaining, it's not like theyre paying for the IP addresses. If he pays for them he's able to do whatever he needs/wants.

He means delegating nameservers for PTR probably, not having you set up rdns

Exactly, most wont do that for IPv4 under a /24 - but usualy all will do that for IPv6 in /64 or larger (/48 and up)

Its not hard to set this up.

As long as you justify them there's no real limit to ips per device or even vps.
