    Alittle html help

    I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a webpage to show no file extension. For instance instead of I would rather show is it at all possible to take away the file extension in a internet page? And if so how is this possible?

    Remember: That sometimes larger search engines may misread and or will be unable to read the information provided on a link rather than a page. Having tavehe .HTML or .HTM extension is not always a bad extension to have.

    I you use wordpress,then there is option in wordpress setting,"permalink",you can change its setting to show no file extension...

    A simple way to do this is -

    1. Create the page & name it as index.html
    2. Create a folder in your root directory with some naem you want to use for the page link eg. happy-hippo
    3. Upload the index.html in happy-hippo folder.

    Now if you access this folder using your domain - , it will open the index.html which is present inside the folder.
