Thread: cloudmin.kvm

  1. #1

I put cloudmin.KVM GPL on my headless Centos 5.5 box at home, however can never seem to get a Graphical console out of it.

It always displays the following message

VNC has been configured on this system by Cloudmin, but the VNC server on port 5901 on host system server is not accessible. If it was just enabled, the system will need to be rebooted before VNC is available.
If I connect with a VNC application on that port I get a password challenge prompt, but I have no idea of what the password should be.

Ended up installing a local GUI and NXserver

Which is fine for a homeserver, although would have liked to have figured out why it didn't like the graphical console on cloudmin.
