BSD VPS provider
Can anyone recommend any FreeBSD VPS providers in USA? Looking for a range of packages actually for development and production.
any Xen or KVM provider may be able to give you FreeBSD, but not openVZ
A buddy of mine runs a BSD VPS Provider,
http://encept.net and it's also ran under http://host.oss.im
You can do a bit more searching on him if you would like. He's a helpful guy also! His name is Justin.
Thanks! Much appreciated. Yeah, actually FreeBSD even has a Xen distro.
Search these forums this is a pretty common question that has been answered a number of times.
If price is a concern a Freebsd Jail-based vps might be worth considering as well.

*And* (off topic) I also figured out yesterday that my ruby app runs in <80 megs of RAM *if* I stay away from rails (what a dog that framework is).
So it looks like I should be able to find a lot of reliable providers well within my budget. Thanks WHT!!! This is such a great resource.
Please update us who you select to go with!
Rootbsd is a long freebsd provider.
Have a look: http://www.freebsd.org/commercial/isp.html
this is an official list of the FreeBSD providers.
