Evening
This thread is regarding PureBanners.com and my experienced with them failing to provide a service and running away with my money.
I ordered a banner advertisement and a logo for 50 USD on February 17th 2011. We are now at March 29th 2011 and still, no banner or logo from the company.
I have opened a dispute but he has not replied for the 20 days so I decided to escalate it. Still, he has not responded and PayPal will make a decision on the 31st March with the result. I'm looking forward to getting my money back.
I am led to believe they have scammed me. I don't like tarnishing companies of this scale but I feel this I have to do the right thing and warn others.
I have screen shots of my PayPal dispute, transaction, msn chat logs of the deal, my attempts of emails and his only response. Please PM me and I will share with you. I can not post here due to not being able to post urls. Images hosted at Imageshack.
I've also been made aware the owner uses this forum. I look forward to your response jmango.

I wouldn't expect one soon, I've been waiting for a response for quite a while now. We also had issues, banner purchased on Jan 24th, not even a sampler or any type of indication the work is even being completed, and constant useless replies claiming it will be complete in 24hrs or money back, basically almost since 2 weeks after we purchased the banner.

I'm sorry to read that. Did you dispute with PayPal?
My last contact with him was via email 24/02/2011:
Hey Danny, i'm really sorry about that. I did start the logo and can send
it over this afternoon along with the banner ad, I hope that will work. I
will also include a free banner design for the delay. Please let me know.

Danny, I didnt even think you still needed the work after I saw that you have a new website design.
I have sent your money back. Sorry for the trouble.
If you still need it I might do the work and ask for payment upon completion instead.

So your plans were to originally just keep his money since "he had a new website design" instead of contacting him directly and finding our for sure? Your business practice keeps getting shadier by the day.

The money was deducted from my paypal the day he opened the dispute. There is no way for me to "keep" his money.

Sure he had to open a dispute to get his money back because like always you fail to respond to your customers. So what if he did not open the dispute. Would you have just kept his money on the idea that he had a new website and you thought he no longer needed the work done, but yet you still had not refunded his money or even bothered to contact him. Pretty shady.
It's also pretty obvious that if this was not brought up on these forums that you would have ignored the claim, simply the same as you did with dispute that he had open for 20 days that you failed to respond to.
The same stories pop up with you time and time again. I am surprised you have not been banned from these forums by now and had your Paypal account revoked. I am sure karma will work its way in soon enough.
There surely are enough complaints against you:

You dont know what you're talking about. I'm not going to start another argument with you.
The reason i'm not banned or had my paypal account revoked is because I dont run a scam. I had a couple of bad months, i've done work for litrally thousands of companies for over a decade with no issues.

Hello
I released the new design last week including a brand new logo (this was after I escalated the paypal claim). I kinda gave up hope you were going to give me one of those outstanding banner advertisements as advertised in your portfolio.
I have not seen you on MSN ever since our last conversation in February. Jason Scales, one of your previous clients and one of my friends for years, recommended me to you.
I have my money back. Thank you.
It's a shame I had to use WHT to get my money back.

I'm disappointed you choose me as somebody who you had a hiccup with. My team were excited to see one of those banners advertising our free project us around the web.
Now that I have my money back, we can move forward.

Hmm, strange. i'm on MSN nearly 24/7. MSN does have an issue with showing some members offline on the contacts list.
I will definitely send over the banner work.

I'm more than happy to pay for the banner work once I see the product.
I know it's $15 but the quality of work is just amazing and is very easy for anybody to just throw $15 at you but please don't accept our money if you are busy with others.
It's not fair and it costs us more money and public humiliation if we already have a set deadline of a new release that we can't meet because we're waiting much longer than agreed.
I do thank you for sending my money back, other people wouldn't bother and would just change alias or attack the buyer.

Boy oh boy I don't know what's more pathetic, the attitude or seeing a designer start acting like they give a damn after a paypal or complaint is filed... The fact of the matter is that you're still doing the same crap you pulled when you were with bannersmall --- LYING to people.
You take peoples money and don't do the work - what exactly are you doing ?
Oh, and I think we all know why you haven't been banned yet.

I say that because $15 is affordable to the majority as opposed to $xxx's I've seen some companies charge.
