Dear Vortech Customers,
We have some exciting news for all Vortech customers. It has been a long time coming, but it is finally here!!! Over the past several weeks we have been hard at work on major upgrades which we are proud to say are now complete. We have migrated everything out our old equipment in Florida and are now in two different data centers located in Dallas and Seattle. There are many more upgrades on the horizon, including new plans with added storage and bandwidth (with some upgrades to existing plans of course) and affordable dedicated servers located in our new facilities.
Here are some of the upgrade highlights now in place:
• We are now running all new hardware featuring modern multi core processors and Raid 10 in ALL our Servers
• H-Sphere is upgraded from 2.5 to 3.1 patch 1
• All NT servers have been upgraded with ASP.NET 1.1/2.0/3.5/4.0 support and PHP5
• Bandwidth is now through tier one providers; Qwest, NTT Verio, Level 3, Comcast, Global Crossing and AT&T
We now ask that you take a minute to update your Hostnames IP address at your domain registrar to the following:
ns.hsphere.cc 18.104.22.168 Seattle Washington
ns1.hsphere.cc 22.214.171.124 Dallas Texas
ns2.hsphere.cc 126.96.36.199 Seattle Washington
ns3.hsphere.cc 188.8.131.52 Dallas Texas
ns4.hsphere.cc 184.108.40.206 Seattle Washington
ns5.hsphere.cc 220.127.116.11 Dallas Texas
NOTE: Old Name Servers IP will be decommissioned within 60 Days.
Vortech has never had a brighter future, and we value and appreciate all of our customers. We hope these upgrades and the ones to come serve your hosting needs now and for the foreseeable future.
There was a thread on here over a year ago about Vortech's dirty laundry. A dispute (which sounded more like a muntanny) between several owners ended very badly. They were all accusing eachother of stealing money from the company. In the end, and from what I read, they were kicked out of the data center in Florida as they owned some insane amount of money.
I guess it changed ownership or something and seems like they are trying to turn it around.
